Add hydraulic lift to B-100?

Recommended Posts

Hi all, new member here.  I have '75 B-100 that I use to move snow, I have both a blade and a snowblower  As I get older raising the blower is getting harder and harder. Assuming it is possible I'd like to add hydraulic lift to it, what years and models should I be looking for as parts donors? Or should I just shop for another tractor that already has hydraulic lift?  Problem is I don't have room for another one and while the B-100 has LOTS of "patina" it runs great and is kind of a family heirloom. My cousin gave it to me not long before he passed away.Thanks.

If the tractor is a hydro yes it's a bolt on same trans as the C-120, and 160 except the B-100 has 1" axles (my son has one) you can find all the parts off one of those tractors, it is best to pull it your self or have someone that knows pull it so you get everything, the little stuff that is over looked, extra foot rest bracket, spacer on the bar the cyl goes in, grommets to protect the hoses if still there, and most important the check valves in the trans to make the lift operate.

I'm thinking, if you have a manual tranny, a lift such as the HY-3 would adapt easily. Then there's the electric lift option that is easily installed.

Thanks all, it is a hydro. here are a couple action shots from the big snow a couple years ago, Even the mighty Horse couldn't bust through the big drift and pile from the state plows at the end of the driveway though.  Had to have an end loader finish the job.

If you are close to me, I have a 71 bronco 14 parts tractor with that setup on it.

If you don't have a manual, I would suggest printing the 1975 C- series manual from this site. Page 17 explains how to disconnect the hydro-lift. Just reverse the process.
