wheeledhorseman 574 #26 Posted February 2, 2014 You two young'uns show maturity for your age. Getting back to the 227-5, I thought you might be interested in what it cost new. Here's the UK price list from Dec 87 which is a bit earlier for yours but not much. I've uploaded the scans in hi-res so anyone interested can download and print a good copy. Out of interest, the hand written reference written at the top to MPS Garden Machinery is interesting in that when Multipower went bust I'm pretty sure that a new company MPS took its place but I'm not certain that they continued as Toro Wheel Horse agents. I do have the Dec 1990 price list as well but it's an odd size to scan but I'll do it if anyone out there is interested. It also gives the technical details of the tractors re construction e.g. fabricated / welded / stamped chasis, even guages of steel. Of course it also gives UK prices of the Toro Wheel Horse Range including attachments. BTW a 227-5 tractor new cost £2299 inc VAT in 1990 before buying a deck or other attachments for it. Hope this is of interest. Let me know if you want the 1990 price list posted here as well. Andy
