damon91 7 #1 Posted November 15, 2013 Hi all Well I decided to check the set screws and keys on the rear hubs for safe precaution. While I had the hubs off I noticed the left side axle had a lot of up and down side to side play. the seal is pretty much gone and it doesnt look like there is a bearing in there behind the seal. On the parts diagram it shows a needle bearing behind the seal for the axle on the right side, but shows no bearings or seal on the left side. I am assuming that it is implied that the left side has the same bearings and seals as the right, but I just want to check with you guys before I go tearing this thing apart. stevasaurus 22,872 #2 Posted November 15, 2013 Yes it has an outer bearing and seal on both axles.. The diagram leaves that out for simplicity in the drawing. The outer axle bearing is WH # 1528...crosses to a Torrington # B-1616 The axle seal is WH # 1232...crosses to SKF # 9815 Hopefully you caught this before you show wear in the axle itself.
