How not to sell a tractor

All of us searching for a good deal on CL and the like run across all kinds of kooky ads. I really get a kick out of the ones that have a picture of a tractor still strapped to a P/U bed or a trailer. You know they just bought it and in their haste to list it and make money they didn't bother to unload it, wash it put air in the tires, check the oil ect. but they write it up as if they just used it to cut grass. Sometimes there will be a bunch of tractors and other junk piled around it. Roll it a few feet and do a nice picture. You went through the bother to post a pic. Why not make it presentable? 

 

This was the best. I just pasted the pic. I won't post the price but it was firm over $100.

How about this one. He wants $800.00. It has been posted for months and he also has put it on EBay. Describes it a good runner. Says he cut grass with it this year but looks like it is buried in last falls leaves.

I remember buying a gear drive deck a couple of years ago at the show. "Works great, quiet and just cut grass with it." Rattled like a diesel. The only thing holding the gears in were grease.

I love it when they take a blurry picture at night with their cell phone and no flash. Hmm, I can make out a tire and seat  and possibly a steering wheel. Sold! I'll take it!
