RMCIII 838 #1 Posted October 26, 2013 Just curious... What does your winter rig look like? I found a small heater I am going to mount, up in the corner of the cab, and hook it to a rechargeable battery. I'll add the photo's when I'm finished.

Tankman 3,520 #4 Posted October 26, 2013 Sold my WH blower, gravel / stone driveway. Was sittin' for a few years not being used. Nowadays, I'll be pushing snow with the '90 520-8 and / or the '85 416-8. The grandsons are getting to the age, capable. I make a great stupid-visor. We plow every few inches, never a problem. Even so, I might put a blade on my F-150 4 X 4, if I feel like it. No cab for the Horses but goose down for my back.
Anglo Traction 761 #5 Posted October 26, 2013 We've had regular heavy-ish snow in South of UK for last 4 years or so. Prior to that, hadn't seen any for several years. So we don't have an excuse to 'Tool Up' with Blades and Blowers to make it worth while........ We depend on you Guys to show us the Red Things shifting the White Stuff.

953 nut 56,774 #7 Posted October 26, 2013 I have the good fortune to live where we only have a few 6" to 10" snows a year and my 953 with a 42" plow can do the job with ease. Never have taken any pictures of it, shame on me! , so do I.

KC9KAS 4,742 #10 Posted October 26, 2013 Either my 1975 B-80 8 speed with a 42" push plow, and/or my 1969 GT-14 with a 54" blade. Both units will have weight (besides me) and chains. Used my 654 for about 3 years now, and I am trying to fix it up more like a looker than a worker! Not necessarily a show queen, just not as rough as my workers....You get the picture.
cheesegrader 433 #11 Posted October 26, 2013 I'm using these. Already. In October. If I ever find a good deal, I'm going to add another horse for the plow!
Kelly 1,030 #12 Posted October 26, 2013 I have a 95 520H with a tall shoot blower, weights on all 4 wheels with 2 link chains on the rear, the blower stays on it all year, I just started it today to be sure it was ready, I have a nice cab but I only use the blower once or twice a winter so I havn't put it on in a few years, then I have a 97 520H with a 48" blade that will get used most of the time, then if I want to play I have a round hood I have a blower or blade for, that gets used on and off all winter
