nelson or stanley muffler

Ive decided I'm putting a new vertical muffler on my tractor. Has anyone had any experience with Stanley or nelson mufflers? Those are the two I'm interested in. Thanks

Nelson mufflers last a long time and are OEM in some models.  What tractor are you working with?

I am repairing my BIL's 1968 John Deere  112 currently. It has the original Nelson muffler still on it in very good condition. I hope the one on my 416 lasts as long.

Great. Thanks gents. Sounds like my tractor is getting a nelson! :) with a nice new polished and shiney rain cap from nelson as well. (Just for looks because it won't be in the rain.)

      PTO clutch support screw torque

      Replacing the drive belt on my 252-h. Anyone know the torque specification for the center screw when I put this pto clutch back on? I know it was on there tight it took a minute for the impact to break it loose. Thanks!

      my magnum 12 kohler all of a sudden is blowing oil out of the carb. if rings are bad should oil be blowing out of the muffler.thanks for any help brent
