KC9KAS 4,741 #1 Posted October 19, 2013 We are on our fall motorcycle vacation October 17--22. We rode the Natchez Trace Parkway from Nashville TN to Florance Alabama, and are now in Huntsville. The fall colors are a little behind ours at home (Southern Indiana), but still beautiful riding. It has been cooler riding than most of our rides, but 50* is better than 100*!

KC9KAS 4,741 #7 Posted October 19, 2013 I LIVED IN HUNTSVILLE, AL IN 1952. IT WAS A NICE SMALL TOWN THEN. I WAS STATIONED AT RED STONE ARMY BASE. I PAID $5999.OO FOR A BRAND NEW HOUSE. My wife and her 1st (military) husband lived here too. We found their old house....it was a small 2 bedroom house and now it has had an addition and it is 2 stories. She took a picture of the house to show her daughter, as she was born in Huntsville and lived in the small house.....27 years ago!
