Why did I buy this ?

:eusa-think:  I guess because no one else was stupid enough to bid on this junk pile.

Did WH ever use solid tires ?  I assume you need a split rim to mount these.

Quite honestly...that is pretty cool...don't know what you paid for all that though. :)   You happen to have some great yard ornaments there. :ychain:   My wife would already be buying flowers to put in and around those.  I do not think Wheel Horse used solid tires, unless it was in the 40s or 50s. (Ponds)..  Seriously, I am liking those tires...good luck finding rims for them.

$1.00 minimum auction bid.

20-25 lbs each     If I find rims, I'll cut them apart and weld-em back together on the tires.    That'll make a big bonfire if they catch fire.

WH did indeed use solid rubber tires, but only on the Trail Blazer Snow Throwers, at least as far as I know.  There may be a few other implements that used them.

And yeah you need a split rim.

Solid is the way to go if you want a tad more weight on the front without filling or bolting it on. Good find for a Buck!.....and no punctures.

The first year of Lawn Rangers used a semi-pneumatic hard tire on the fronts, but they were the tiny ones, not those larger ones.
