sparky6398 2 #1 Posted October 8, 2013 Hi Guys, Is there a thread or a sticky that gives all the different tractor model ID tag Locations? If there is, I am not able to find it. Thanks

sparky6398 2 #3 Posted October 9, 2013 Thanks for the links, but those don't give the ID tag LOCATION? I know that WH put them in different places over the course of 40 + years building tractors, I was wondering if anyone or group of members had put together a list of where and on what models. Thanks So Much Again for your efforts here.
CasualObserver 3,408 #4 Posted October 9, 2013 There was a thread about it long ago, I don't even know if it made the migration. It's kind of a hard one to search for... the words serial number and location have been used a few thousand times here! Are you looking for a particular model? With exception of the pre-1964 tractors they were all pretty much in one of three places. Under the dash on the dash tower, on the left side of the dash tower or under the seat.
CasualObserver 3,408 #5 Posted October 9, 2013 Found it.... of all places.... in the FAQ section! Still.... what are you trying to find?
sparky6398 2 #6 Posted October 10, 2013 Jason, Thank you. Do you know where they are on a 701?
CasualObserver 3,408 #7 Posted October 10, 2013 Yes, under the dash on the tower. Above the shift decal. Via Tapatalk

CasualObserver 3,408 #9 Posted October 10, 2013 No problem. I should add, that with exception of the RJ-58 only the serial numbers were on the tag. They didn't put model numbers on again until 1965 when they switched from decals to the black and silver aluminum tags. Via Tapatalk 4
