Uncle Buck 246 #1 Posted September 24, 2013 I am new and old here. I joined some years ago, but never got real active. I am signing back in again to get more active and learn a bit more about my horses. I have a 1968 Lawn Ranger that for years was my user, unfortunately about 5 years ago I fired the LR up one spring before checking the oil and locked the engine up so that engine needs rebuilt. I also have I think it's a 1963 636? I might be a bit off with that number. That one is semi finished, but still needs just a bit more work to be totally right. Last I have a little nut roaster that is in rough shape, but still worth saving to me, though it looks like a rusted hulk right now. I have a 4 wheel wagon, two 36" rear discharge decks, and one snowblade that I would like to fit to the 1963. Mainly I need some advice on where to get some parts at the best prices such as tires, throttle and choke cables, decals, and some other etc. For any other WH guys, I am located in Topeka, Kansas and always interested in talking Horse or really about anything mechanical with local guys so if I am local to you let me know that, and for everyone else, Hello! It is great being here.

Uncle Buck 246 #6 Posted September 24, 2013 Pictures will have to wait a bit. I have the trailer and all three tractors crammed in one of those cheesy little tin sheds and buried under all kinds of other junk so snapping decent pics is not so easy right now. Uncle Buck 246 #10 Posted September 24, 2013 (edited) Agreed, it is one or the other. Sadly, I don't recall which number it was that I sanded off of the belt guard a few years back prior to paint. Mine was a recoil start if that helps narrow it down any. I love those red and white seat covers, very period looking.
