ebay "global international shipping". ever used it for wh parts?

I had a flywheel for a k181 on ebay, and it sold to a 3rd party through this "global international shipping" program that ebay seems to have enrolled me into without my knowledge. the person im to go through has 1 feedback.

anyone have experience with this? not sure I want someone in a 3rd world country with my address, paypal info, etc.

I know this is non-wheel horse related, but might be important, as a lot of us use ebay

In the past I have sold alot on ebay, but never heard of this, it must be something new, keep us updated on how this goes.

I cancelled the transaction and sent them a refund hopefully that will take care of it. the address of the buyer is the Netherlands..

The way I understood it was that you ship it to Ebay shipping and they ship it from there. I did not enroll yet,but may need  it if I sell out of the country. Here is a link that will help you decide of you want it.- http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/shipping-globally.html

my problem with it, is that your package could go through many hands before it gets to the destination.  in other countries,

just corrected settings on my account.

you might want to check your shipping preferences if you use ebay.   they are really pushing this new shipping program, and you may find that you have been "volunteered" to participate.
