My Next Restore...A 1964 Lawn Ranger

Recommended Posts

Terry M

Started working a little on My next project.   Just installed an H60 Tecumseh on it ....so that Makes it an already "RUNNING" project. (meaning this one has a running engine) :) This tractor has lots of power and will ride a wheelie if I let out the clutch too fast in third gear. This tractor will pretty much be a tune-up,clean-up and Paint-up Job with tri-ribs and ags to finish it off....After I finish up or give-up on my 606 project. :banghead:

Can't get it to run...and it should run....so I'm stumped.     going to start tearing into it tomorrow.    we'll see what happens.

Terry, I would just wipe it down and run it the way it sits... it looks good to me!

I see that one has the same problem my 67 had.. a cracked hood right at the seam.  That sucker was a pain in the but to weld every time I hit it I would burn a new hole to fill...

I'm not too worried SousaKerry, :)   The guy who fixed it did a good job :handgestures-thumbupright:

Thanks Tom, it's already coming along nicely. Maybe going to bring it to Jacksonville.  We'll see...

I don't know squat about restoring anything but a house, but what I've saw on tv, with classic cars is a wash, then clear coat. No new paint.
