The 5080 and 5084 fall on chart #2.

The original axle seals are 100863 for 1" shaft.

The original input shaft and brake shaft seals are 100441 for 3/4" shaft.

I have a 417A Wheelhorse that has a right rear wheel bearing going out. Do know where to look for a replacement. 'Any ideas ?

B-1816 is the commercial bearing number.  Any autoparts store should be able to order it or Amazon or Ebay....\

This is great information. It is encouraging to find such helpful people. About ten years ago I was given a 1988 Servistar (Southern States' MTD brand) Riding mower. It had 1st, 5th, and reverse gears and the engine ran like a 3-legged dog. I rebuilt the engine and carb and then tackled the transaxle. (I was told there was no way to rebuild it) Hmph! With a lot of detailed pictures for reference and some determination I opened the transaxle and found that the shift keys were broken.

 

I drove over to RBI Corp. in Ashland, VA and the lady handed me a pair of new keys for $20. I've been cutting my grass and moving trailers around the yard with it ever since. Old is better and being able to keep an old machine going with the aid of a helpful community like this is priceless.

I think about it slightly differently because, after a career as a business systems analyst and architect, I could often see the value of new or evolving products' being applied to existing or new situations. But I always included in my analyses fully-loaded, apples-to-apples comparisons of the true cost/value of extending the life of existing tooling vs. creating new. It can, however, be career-shortening to try breaking decision makers of their addiction to "new car smell"!

@stevasaurus Hey buddy. Here's the info on the Eaton 1100 units. Old type, new type, and the Xi too. I have taken a few apart now, and this is what I have found, and also confirmed from parts lists across models. I will make a thread soon, with a go thru of them.

Has anyone developed a list for a 5084?

I think PDF-2 is really close, but for sure the brake shaft bearing(s) is different. ID is 3/4 OD is 1” depth as of yet unknown - its still in place.

I am the original owner of a 1985 416-8, looking for the rear axle seal part numbers.  Judging by the very helpful chart above is it safe to assume the correct part number is 100344? Where is the best place to buy these?  All the sites I have looked at online the transmission diagram for part numbers says unavailable.  Thanks for the help!

This should be the transmission 110995 you have so 1-1/8" diameter axles. That is also the seal inside diameter.

Napa carries SKF or Chicago Rawhide seals

The parts lists also include the 1" axles and seals so will let you figure out the 1-1/8" ID seal from the charts. Looks like 100443

One of our vendors Wheelhotsepartsandmore.com has seals and bearings and a lot more for your horse. If you have any questions give them a call 
You might want to check if your seal leakage is caused by worn axle bearings. Jack up your horse nd see if you see any axle movement at the seal when you hand lift the tire up and down. You should see essentially no movement or only a tiny tiny bit.

My 520-8 transmission is a 110995. Are seal part numbers different? Trying to find the brake shaft seal (it’s a leaker) and the input pulley shaft seal as well (not a leaker yet).

 Brake shaft seal is out and I can read NOK AG0888G on it.

You need the model and year of your tractor to get to the original parts list.

That list will get you the original Toro/Wheel horse part number.

With those you can go to the charts in our transmission section and find seal supplier part numbers for replacements.

The original seals may have a 3rd part number on them by the company that manufactured the seals.

 

Bearing part numbers are more standardized between manuacturers but still every company has there own part number for the bearing.

 

Once a transmission leaves a tractor for another there is no way to identify the transmission model. You need to know the original tractor model it came from.

One then can only dismantle the transmission and compare the parts to what is in the parts lists for the various transmission models.
