Hey Ian nice video and good work on those rims.. i have had in my mind to do it also but never got tha ass in gear to do it..

I bought a tire changer from us erly this summer and it works good.. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/26984719/Wheel%20Horse/20130728_005201.jpg

i bought it at HB freight http://www.harborfreight.com/portable-tire-changer-69686.html but shipping is prolly high to uk to on it..  only problem is you cant use it on fron tires.. you have to have the small one to do that.

http://www.harborfreight.com/mini-tire-changer-34552.html and here is a Bead Breaker that also is easy to build http://www.harborfreight.com/bead-breaker-92961.html

Hi Daniel, it's funny you should bring up those tyre changer thingys... I was watching a Murray Mayhem video on YouTube the other day and he was using the same sort of thing.. Which got me thinking about making one..

Any chance of a few photo's and measurements of your kit (oo-er) so I can make something similar?

Yes of course Ian, I'll take some pictures and measurements for you next time im at my parents (havent built my own workshop yet) and send them across.  :)

Thanks for that Lars. I think the way to go might be to make a tire removal thingy that will do both front and rear tires, rather than buy two tools to do the same job.. You know what's I'm like.. If I can make it to save money then I will :)

These have now been listed on you know where, it will be interesting to see how much interest I get on them..

And yes it is a bit of a cheeky B.I.N price, but you never know  :D

If you were to take into account hours spent etc, I reckon that BIN price is not far off. Good luck Ian.

I'd just like to get my hands on a pair of standards.
