Repaired and updated the diesel and broke it

Test run, blew the manifold gasket at the end or he'd have made a full pull, still did 278ft, topped out at 17.8mph.  Fix and repair LOL

Took it apart today, blew the gasket entirely out and heat stressed the stainless a quarter inch, Turned all that new stainless blue and gold.  Gonna try again on Wensday  Hope it holds this time

Is everything flat and true?? how about studs if it dosen't have them,  or cut block or head for O rings.

Duane , this is what I do with headers at work. Take a prick punch go around the flange every 1/4 inch so the metal has little bumps now get the high temp silicone. 1/8 bead ONLY let it cure for 5 mins then bolt up header tight. The prick punch will hold it away from head and header for silicone to stay in. I never use header gaskets again. also earls makes a lead Teflon gaskets with aluminum ring around them . maybe the make some for that engine.

We took it apart again. Were remaking the header. To much pressure have to enlarge the tubes and the flanges will be 1/2 inch stainless. Also the intake will be changed over and enlarged so both in and out will be one piece

 Gonna also try a larger turbo from a Ford 7000 Just for the heck of it
