308-8 Purchase for Mother In Law

I found this one on CL. Ended up picking it up late last night. KenB took a ride with me since it was less than 5 mins. from his house. I removed black painted flames that were on it and pulled off the newer replacement 37 inch deck to check it out. PO installed a new mower deck drive belt but it was twisted on the PTO so when I tested it the blades spun backwards! Here it is after a quick clean up last night. I will get a few more pics soon.

As the title says... it will be going over to my mother in law's house for her use. I got it on the short for $260. Runs mint but deck will need new blades before I bring it over. It also has the complete bagger set up in very good condition.

I swapped the seat out with a better one, Sharpened the blades and showed my MIL how to operate it today. She did pretty good for never driving a tractor at the age of 65+ ....Here is an updated pic without the deck yet installed.

Gee, with all the mother in law joking, I bit on the viewing. You must have a very nice sweet mother in law as that really is a good lookin' machine for anyone, and I'll bet she wears a big smile when she gets on it. Very fine job son in law , can't beat that price either!

Looks good Steve, but you need to find some genuine Wheel Horse wheel covers for  the MIL's tractor. If I had a MIL, she would have nice shiney wheel covers. Note my SIL does not have wheel covers on the tractor I bought him. But a MIL, thats a whole different subject!

Yeah, it looks like Mr. Anti- hub cap guy has all of a sudden become a hub cap lover!   That cleaned up nice Steve.

I agree on the flywheel screen. Been looking on ebay and could not find one. If anyone has one let me know.
