gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,243 #3 Posted August 14, 2013 I have been looking for this application but see conflicting part numbers. The original Kohler number is 25 132 10S but it is a poor idea to use a conversion list to find a replacement. It will have the same physical dimensions but the heat range can be off by a mile. Finally found a 18hp twin in an old Champion book that lists their reccommended plug as RV17YC for Wheel Horse gapped at .025". 14mm, 5/8`hex, .460`reach with a tapered seat so uses no gasket. They do list the 18hp V-Twin as using RC12YC. 14mm, 3/8`reach, 13/16`hex and uses a gasket. I did come across the H10 for this model but now believe it is not correct 14mm, 7/16`reach, 13/16`hex and uses a gasket. Whatever make of plug you get use their application charts to get the correct one. Garry
Jeff-C175 7,203 #4 Posted August 14, 2013 (edited) Googling the Kohler part number that Garry posted comes up with this: http://www.rcpw.com/kohler-engine-parts/genuine/25%20132%2010S.html Which is showing the H10C or RH10C (resistor) as aftermarket replacement. BUT, this plug appears to be for the K series SINGLES. Is this an 18 HP TWIN? What is the engine model? The KT twins use the RV17YC plug... Jeff-C175 7,203 #5 Posted August 14, 2013 That engine is a K482, correct? http://www.kohlerengines.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/en_607.pdf Kohler manual for that engine lists 235040-S as plug part number. Putting this number into rcpw.com crosses back to the 25 132 10-S number that crosses to the H10 in the previous post.
