BOWTIE 226 #1 Posted August 7, 2013 I FINISHED THIS PROJECT AND SOLD IT TO A FRIEND, A TORO DEALER IN MARIETTA,OHIO. HE WILL RE-SELL IT AT FULL RETAIL. IT IS 1997 312-8 WITH A 37" DECK. TRACTOR TURNED OUT GREAT WITH 419 HOURS ON IT. I GAVE $700 FOR IT PLUS $50 (GAS) SOME PAINT AND ONE CLUTCH SPRING. SOLD IT FOR $1350. NOW I'M LOOKING FOR ANOTHER WHEEL HORSE. BOWTIE 226 #6 Posted August 8, 2013 I'm retired and enjoy working on them. I know my limits so I'm very selective in what I buy. The guy I sold it to has bought five tractors from me. He also is giving some spare parts new drive belts, clutch springs and some deck carrier bushings. The tractor will need front tires and he will put them on.
