Just thought id make an account and stop creeping. Lol. Lots of good info on here and thought id say thanks. My son saw me redo my 76 Deere and next thing I knew his 63 857 showed up in my shed. Needless to say its been a love hate project. Hard to get a 16 yrs old to come help on HIS tractor. Lol. We have topped the hill and sliding down the other side now. Bad thing..he took it apart and left dad to put it together. Going to tackle the wiring tonight and if he gets here after work, yeah I can't fault him for having a job, I'm going to have him strip the paint off the front wheels. Decals may get put on this weekend. If I can figure out how I'll get some pics up. Thanks again for all the great info you guys and gals post.

Your 857 is a 1967 machine......unless it actually is a 1963 then its a 603, 633 or a 753.

Post us a pic and we can nail down what it is.

Mike......

I'll go with the 67. I'm not sure where I found the serial number code that said it was a 63. Close tho huh? Oh and lucky me I'm 40 mile from south bend. Home of the horse.

How do I post pics from my phone? I'm In the shed working on it now.

Welcome to RedSquare! I am also a fellow hoosier! I live in Goshen, which is about 45 mins from South Bend. Lots of great info on this forum! One thing to help determine what model your tractor is. Is it a square hood or round hood? The serial number should be under the the dash.
