bizzo15 52 #1 Posted August 1, 2013 Hey everybody, Just bought my first tractor, at first I was looking at the green ones and then a few friends suggested I check out a wheel horse and after looking at a couple I bought one! It's a 1998 312-8 with approx ~700 hours on it. The guy I bought it off was real knowledgeable about these tractors and was actually the one who pointed me to these forums. I'm glad I made the choice to get a wheel horse after looking it over I know it's going to be a long lasting machine. 953 nut 55,044 #4 Posted August 1, 2013 My 312-8 is from '86 and has a bunch of hours on it; you just need to lube oil and do an ocasional belt and battery replacement. I haven't had a chance to mow with it yet, hopefully this weekend. Nice thing about the Wheelhorse is if you buy implements from, say 1974ish up to the end and they are for the C series (some B series), 300, 400 and 500 series tractors, they should all fit - including snowblowers.
