Cutlas3391 776 #1 Posted August 1, 2013 This will be my first Wheel Horse Gt14 that i just picked up today for $275.00. The tractor will need some minor TLC. The engine was rebuilt with only 50 hours on it and runs great. I figure just alone the wheel weights and plow where worth the price. I don't run across too many GT 14s and seeming there getting harder to find..

Tankman 3,518 #7 Posted August 2, 2013 Great deal but, you'll need to calm it down a bit. Certainly a bright Stallion! Red is for the blood we shed.
brandonozz 168 #8 Posted August 2, 2013 I really like the looks of those GT14's. And form the looks of your full garage you will get plenty of seat time moving it out of the way every time you want to get another tractor out Great deal.... doubt anyone on here would pass up that deal - even those guys that "say" they aren't looking for another tractor! Wheel-N-It 2,968 #9 Posted August 2, 2013 I like the looks of the GT-14's too. How much of a pain in the butt are they to work on??? If not, then why did Wheel Horse stop making them???
meadowfield 2,570 #10 Posted August 2, 2013 I like the looks of the GT-14's too. How much of a pain in the butt are they to work on??? If not, then why did Wheel Horse stop making them??? Changing wheels is a doddle, pretty well anything other than changing the battery or spark plug becomes a pain... There's a lot of tin to remove to get to the backend, getting to the fuel pump and carb can be tight too.... And if you need to put the brake pedal spring in - as mine is missing then you need tiny pixie hands or to take the 3 point lift bar or lift cylinder out. However they are still my favourite horse of all time, small enough to get through gates, but big enough to do even the hardest of jobs.
Cutlas3391 776 #11 Posted August 2, 2013 Yea your right little tough to work on last night I was trying to get one of the fenders of that was damaged pretty bad that was a nightmare. I'm thinking about modifying my Auto 18 nice set of fenders to replace the gt14 fenders.
