Decided to sell my 1998 314-8

Was wondering if 1400.00 was reasonable for this? Has 420hrs on it and looks like new. Any input would be appreciated. I had it on craigslist a month ago and put the wrong phone # by mistake. Sure i made some people mad. Honest mistake.

To be honest, I think $1400 is a bit steep for a 314. Pictures would help determine a good price.

It depends on condition, does it have a 37",42" or 48" deck? Pictures would help and you may need to wait on Fall or next Spring.

I could see it bringing something close to that, it would have to be real minty though. Yours may honestly be like new but I've seen some tractors that the owner described as looking like new that made me want to strangle them.....

Put it out there for $1400.  Either someone will want it or they won't.  It's easier to drop the price than to raise it.

Last year I sold a 314-8 with 1100 hours, 48" deck, tired single stage snowblower, weights, chains for $1300.  At the time I felt my price was too low.  I still do.
