WSC C165 2 #1 Posted July 9, 2013 I got this at a auction couple days ago. I'm thinking fix it up a little and repaint, not a full restore. I have always wanted a WH should be a fun project. I got the engine running yesterday, it was stuck when I got it. 01-16K801-15930 Kohler K341AS Are the rear wheels tires factory, they look a little small? Is a new rear fender still available? It is busted up on the other side.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #2 Posted July 9, 2013 Those are not the correct rear rim or tires. Should have at least 23x8.5x12's on the rear. Fronts look correct. The rear fender can be swapped to a metal fender pan, most anything from 1978 and up will fit. Mike............
Wheel-N-It 2,968 #3 Posted July 9, 2013 Congragulations on your first WH. The blackhoods are among the best of the Wheel Horses. Junk the plastic fender and install a newer steel. They bolt right up. Look at the thread I just started to see what yours will look like with the steel fender pan.

Fordiesel69 259 #6 Posted July 9, 2013 If the engine was "stuck" you have problems. It is a very highly sought after engine so please fix it before it stick the rod through the side. Either the cylinder was rusted, or the connecting rod was stuck to the crank. The rod will just pound out over a period of time. Or if it was the cylinder rusted, it will begin to burn oil and wear out the bore.

WSC C165 2 #20 Posted July 18, 2013 It's amazing it sat that long without anyone wanting it. So far back in the woods and brush couldn't see it, had to take a saw and cut a path to get to it.
