Parrothead Al 17 #1 Posted June 24, 2013 I picked up a rear blade and had no way to mount it so, I made a hitch over the weekend out of the skeletal remains of my Snapper Comet. It turned out great and functions really well.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,300 #2 Posted June 24, 2013 Looks good. Does the pulley have a function? Mike.....
Parrothead Al 17 #3 Posted June 24, 2013 Looks good. Does the pulley have a function? Mike..... Yes, I tried it both ways, with and then without the pulley. The pulley reduces cable friction and allows a lot less arm strength to raise the implement. It also has a spring assist and the original hitch stays attached to the tractor.
