55rj35jr 623 #1 Posted June 24, 2013 I've got gear winding and grinding gear noise in my trans it shifts and works fine just the noise I drained and flushed it and replaced the oil didn't help anyone have any ideas on how to quiet it down ? or do I need to replace the trans with a different one? thanks Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

sorekiwi 761 #3 Posted June 25, 2013 As Don said it is probably due to a worn bearing. Gear whine is a result of everything getting out of alignment, usually because a bearing has failed.
