Shade of Black?

What shade of black Is the hood stand on the 520's? It's definitely not gloss, not really a semi gloss. Though satin might be more close but it's almost like a different finish on it. Kind of hard for me to explain. Maybe it's the process that was used to paint it at the factory that as a individual that can not be reproduced.

Automotive Trim Black is very close. You can get it in spray cans at Napa.

I've found low gloss black and have been happy with the results

I like the sheen BBQ black primer produces...

once fully cured, I then cut it lightly with just an automotive paste wax...to achieve the nice, even sheen I like. Last two picts shows before and after waxing it.   

The more aggressive you are with the waxing proceedure...the more reflection it's going to produce.
