Old Paint Find

Found this in a old parts bin from when we had a Whee Horse dealership on are farm. Never been opened, though it might be of interest.

Denny it's from the late 50's to I think somewhere around early 60's.

Very cool collectible.  Never seen that one before.

 

If it were mine... I'd take it to the hardware store, have them shake it for about two days and dip a test strip in it and get it color matched.

Just for the sake of being nosy I Goggled US paints. They are still in business. Heres the link. Maybe they might make up a batch or could help out with some original paint color.

Ok... just so they don't get 150 emails now... who's going to email them and ask if they can still produce part number 5340 Wheel Horse spec Red Air dry spray enamel?  If so, what years were they supplying Wheel Horse?  What is a minimum quantity order and at what cost?

 

Or.... maybe we should all email them, so they consider the potential demand for a short run of making it?
