Kohler Magnum 20 swap into a D Series

If she is indeed running way to rich because of the carb then both plugs should look about the same, probably very sooty (or even worse wet). (If they are the same then I would doubt that you have an internal engine problem unless the same thing happened to both cylinders...which would be unlikely...)

 

If the plugs do not look the same, then I would be more concerned about valve issues/ head gasket issues in one cylinder .

 

The bit about silicone on the head gasket is not a great thing. Spray copper sealant is all that should ever be used on a head gasket. 

 

I can mail you the leakdown gauge whenever you want it.
