HorseWhisperer 243 #1 Posted May 24, 2013 I listed my Horses on CL and here on RS and on FB.Only one single person in a 4 week span has shown any interest.I believe with condition and availability of units I have them priced fairly?I usually start a little higher with the intent to keep them out of wood chucks hands that wanna hack them up and "jump" them but only one interested party in eastern Conn?I have a 953-$300,1054$450 and a 66 ranger in perfect, unmolested condition with a near new deck for 400.I also threw together a 900hr KTll in a C120 chassis and added complete electric lift.I have seen these two items get good $ and haven't been able to entertain one offer!I don't need the dough, just thought I would get them a good, enthusiastic home. What's a horse gotta do to get some love? CRE1992 135 #2 Posted May 24, 2013 Im lovin the 1054 right now. I am just hardpressed for cash. Your prices seem resonable.
HorseWhisperer 243 #3 Posted May 24, 2013 I know were in a recession and all but I know for me,these things don't pop up everyday.lol.I have just had every model and make and have chosen the couple I can't be without.I can comfortably put them in a cave and sit on them til my children are cursed with the disease or pass em along now?I know most of us are hoarders but I wanna share!lol I was thinkin bout dragging them to the big show but I ain't bringing them back! Cheetah 14 #4 Posted May 24, 2013 I'm really liking the Ranger, and I think your price is really good. Unfortunately, I don't have $400 I spare right now for it, at least not without the "boss" giving me the hairy eyeballs... :-(
squonk 41,017 #5 Posted May 24, 2013 Prices are good. My main thing is hoarding my money for PA. Looking for a trans pump for Marvin and a Jenny
redidbull 54 #6 Posted May 24, 2013 It seems like no one has any money. I am into Suzuki 4x4s and have an X90 I was trying to sell. Rare vehicle. Figured for how I had it priced it would be gone in hrs. Not 1 bite. I think your prices are reasonable. Jim
Jeff-C175 7,199 #7 Posted May 24, 2013 If I could figure a way to justify a 200 mile road trip, I'd probably pop on the C120 just for the KTII... you deliver?

953 nut 55,039 #9 Posted May 25, 2013 Your prices are great, if it wasn't for the 600 mile one way trip I would be all over the 1054 & 953. Good luck, just a mater of time, you may want to consider Ebay.
HorseWhisperer 243 #10 Posted May 25, 2013 It's funny,I have finally decided to come up off some goods(hard enough as you all know),I offer up my sacred sacrifices and no one,not one even insults me with an offer!lol
Ken B 3,164 #11 Posted May 25, 2013 Don't feel so bad, I tried selling this refurbished 633 for 400 or best offer. Not one bite, I really felt 400 was givin it away. It left my house today in a trade I did with my brother. I agree with Squonk, many guys are hoarding cash right now for the Big Show.
JimmyJam 542 #12 Posted May 25, 2013 I know... times are real tight with cash right now! I really do have to say that your prices are more than fair. I just cannot add any more horses to the barn without a divorce lawyer; even with that I will probably lose them all!!! I am surprised no one from the Southern Tier entertained an offer. I am from Corning/Painted Post and Binghamton is not far!
racin_ny 25 #13 Posted May 25, 2013 Hey Kevin, I haven't been to the show in a few years but when i did go it seemed like the prices down there were lower than what we were getting around here.
Don1977 604 #14 Posted May 25, 2013 Too far away for most of us. Even if I could make it to the big show, I wouldn't have any money left to buy anything.
JimmyJam 542 #15 Posted May 25, 2013 I have never been to the Big Show (like to someday, when I can afford it). My question is: Do you go to the show to find what you are looking for at a fair price or do you want to walk away with a steal?
bo dawg 516 #16 Posted May 25, 2013 Love to have that C-120 and 1054 but too far away for me.
Shynon 7,459 #17 Posted May 25, 2013 1054 would be in garage if only it were in Minnesota.
HorseWhisperer 243 #18 Posted May 25, 2013 Just seems like out this way in these parts the enthusiast are few and far between! They wouldn't last a day in the Midwest!I'm gonna just close the doors up on the barn and let the horses go blind.A good friend of mine has always said"They don't eat nothin"just put em aside but if I did that I would have 30 of em! I have never been to the Big Show (like to someday, when I can afford it). My question is: Do you go to the show to find what you are looking for at a fair price or do you want to walk away with a steal? I'm a show virgin this year Jim.I'm going to bring a big box of smalls,do some trading buying and selling and see a whole bunch of nit wits like myself that call this a hobby( obsession)!Just gonna camp, drool and hopefully not see any stealing! Don't feel so bad, I tried selling this refurbished 633 for 400 or best offer. Not one bite, I really felt 400 was givin it away. It left my house today in a trade I did with my brother. I agree with Squonk, many guys are hoarding cash right now for the Big Show. I would have bought that today.I'm trying to get littleredrider to come off his currently!lol
HorseWhisperer 243 #19 Posted May 25, 2013 Hey Kevin, I haven't been to the show in a few years but when i did go it seemed like the prices down there were lower than what we were getting around here. Brian,I priced em to help prevent the idiots from getting em,I have noticed the prices are mostly cheap at the show!Kinda why I wanna go too!
StWeiler 6 #20 Posted May 25, 2013 Here in the upper Midwest those prices are a bargain! I'm so jealous of you east coasters always having all the goods. Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
Ken B 3,164 #21 Posted May 25, 2013 I had a nice 551 Suburban with a very nice front mount reel mower on it at the show last yr. for sale. Lots of lookers but I had to practically beg someone to buy it for 350.00. I hated to sell it so cheap but I bought something else and I needed the room on the trailer for the ride home. thirdjoker 11 #24 Posted May 25, 2013 I'm looking for a few but. It's a 1200 mile round trip from north carolina to danbury,or to binghamton. I would be happy to get the ranger or the 633 for $ 400. But they would cost me twice that for me to get them home. A 551 with a front mount for $ 350. I would have given $500 without a second thought. I have tried all shipping options and the lowest quote was $ 412 from NY to NC.
"D"- Man 827 #25 Posted May 25, 2013 I am really into the 953/1054's have one of each. I am currently redoing an 18 and have just committed to buying another one. The trip would be impractical for me, but I realize you have much more tractor there than the money you are asking! I have an 18 Automatic Hood on ebay right now starting bid .99 cents no reserve have not even had an opening bid, over 4 days being listed.
