520 steering conversion ?

If i get every steering componet from a 520h with gear reduction i have all parts but steering wheel and steering shaft from steering wheel to steering box can i use my steering wheel.and shaft off either 416 or 312?

Steering wheel yes...Shaft, I'm not so sure. I believe the gear reduction  steering assembly has its own specific shaft. I have only seen 2 of these up close so I definitely could be wrong. I was entertaining the idea of throwing one under a 1973 16 Auto along with the tires and wheels off a 520 and see what would happen. The deal on the tractor fell thru so I didnt investigate any further on the steering

It looks like you will need the shaft. The left is a reduction steering shaft
