Hello everybody, been browsing this site for a year or more and joined today, i don't like to rush things.I got a 512-D last year with a heap of gear and have already found loads of ideas for attachments and suchlike on this site.  You have no idea how jealous we are over on this side of the "pond" that there were no diesel powered classic 300 or 500 series machines offered here. Looking forward to the pics!

Mike.............

O.K. That was a senior moment, didn't know that posting one pic would lead to the others,i'm rubbish at this.

Top left pic shows a large belt guard, Second pic shows three belt guards ( one's for the mower deck), two front tach-a-matic's, a spare belt (no6738),two curved brackets and curved belt guard and at the top of the photo a  black bracket that has a label saying HD Bar Frame Assy and the number MT2760. What are all these?

Third pic may be the handle for the snow plow? Fourth pic shows a bag of about eighty what look like cylinder head bolts and a spacer/ bush?with the number 2566 on the bag. Last pic top row must be the tiller pulley but it's a very tight fit. I've no idea what the rest of the bits are.

First pic second row, an assortment of what?  the centre ones and the square plate at the back are orange and maybe nothing to do with Wheel Horse. Next is the tractor itself.Third pic is of the snow plow in unused condition. Next pic is the only reason i bought this tractor in the first place but the mounting bracket, like a lot of other parts, is missing. The number on the back is 0736TL03   38213. Last pic second row is the rear tach-a-matic? with a mounting bracket missing. First pic third row, is this the mounting for the plow/blade? it has ID No 0642BK01      45045 and underneath that it has 7230. Next, a close-up of the 8.5hp Robin diesel engine, runs lovely but very NOISY. Next pic, what the hell are these?one arm of each cross has 175-E   77-5, the other has 175-I   77-5 stamped on them. Next the lawn spiker thing, ID No 45 - 0296 and the mower deck.It has three blades 13 1/2" long and the middle blade is loose on the shaft. Final pic, is this the spring for the tiller and any ideas as to what the rest of the gubbins is? Any info on any of these items would be much appreciated, thank you, Griff.

:WRS:  Griff, that's a whole bunch of stuff to be going on with, it'll be interesting to hear what half of it is!

The 512 is a great machine, I find ear muffs make it quiet. :ychain:

The 45 - 0296 looks like an Agi-Fab model number but don't see it here

http://www.agri-fab.com/

There is a 45-0299 under groomers.

Have you been able to find the tractor model number and serial number on a decal on the rear fender pan?

There are 2 models B1-12R801 and C1-12R801

The 06-42BK01 blade fits the 200-Series tractors with vertical crankshafts.

The attachments are listed here

Joe, my username is Griff, it's also my nickname as my surname is Griffin. The " Coffin-Dodger " comes from the quaint English term for an old person not wanting to die yet, ie dodging ( avoiding) being put in a coffin.  (Casket- Dodger would presumably be an American old person). As for artful, i've managed to evade the grim reaper up 'till now so artfull coffin-dodger might seem appropriate. As i've started saying this year " I'll be 53 and don't smell of wee ".

Garry, i must get around to finding the serial no's but it wont be this week 'cos i'll be too busy.

The I.D. No is B1-12R801, the number next to this is 20106, does this help? Just heard of a Toro dealer not far from me so i'll call in. None of the serial numbers of my stuff register with the Toro website.

The serial numbers in most cases can not be used at Toro for product 1990 and older. Use the word none for a serial number. 1991 and later product the serial number is required. To see what Toro is looking for in a serial number use this site

https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro

You can also enter a model name now like 512-D.
