CasualObserver 3,408 #6 Posted May 7, 2013 It is an old Jacobsen. There's one just like it on ebay... just slightly different, probably a different model year. Look at item 281101894799

chazm 413 #8 Posted May 14, 2013 Looks like a greens mower, from I can remember when I was a kid running around the golf course Chasm
RMCIII 838 #9 Posted May 16, 2013 Not a greens mower, but a fairway and around the tee mower. All greens mowers either had no wheels or smooth balloon tires. I worked for Tresca/Jacobson in Florida back in 1998. Built a lot of the 1800 & 1900D's.

B-100 Dan 7 #11 Posted May 17, 2013 That's quite a find. Looks like a lawn mowin son of a gun. I'd like to try it. Used to be alot of lawm mower shops around that had machines to sharpen reel mowers, but today I don't know of any in my area at all anymore.Good luck with it. squonk 41,156 #12 Posted May 17, 2013 Looks like some sorta concrete finisher or a weight reduction jobby, ha! Whatever a nice mag motor! How's it run Lars? Guy I work with bought a concrete finisher at an auction for the motor. Got it home and somehow the drive got engaged. He pulled the cord and it started and the paddles were spinning and it was going all over the place. He couldn't get close to it to turn it off. Ended up having to jump off his porch when it got close to it and take it down like a Rodeo cowboy!
