I remember it had a single cylinder kohler(I think). it had hydrostatic drive via foot pedal. and it was strong but noisy. The only problem I can remember is while mowing, if you went too fast in thicker grass,the deck belt would quickly burn up and smoke rather than the machine just bogging down. happened a few too many times. He later sold it and bought a 14hp montgomery wards tractor which to this day sits back at home rusting outside. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
