where can I find manuels for a uni-drive transmission  I can read the last 3 digits on the tag as 185 and stamped on the housing is J4  and under that % 4 and under that 3900 I think ( 9 is questionable ) and under that N 1 ....I am replacing it with a uni-drive with a hy-low range which has been painted black so I cannot read anything on it. The Unidrive manual is in the "Manuals" section here, it should cover what you have.

 

The actual model of the Unidrive isnt marked on the cases.  They can be determined by the location of the brake drum and the diameter of some of the shafts.  But the manual mentioned above will cover all of them.  They are all more or less the same inside.
