Jack Fate 7 #101 Posted August 6, 2013 i took the day off today to run some much needed errands, and decided to build an e-tank at lunch. I think it came out pretty good. The first culprit was one of the footrests. here's the tank... starting to "cook" here she is before the dip... i'll post pics when it's done, hope it comes out good. So been looking on how to build an E-Tank , found only e ciggerett tank I'll bet someone here knows

Thehunter 9 #105 Posted August 7, 2013 I got the brake band painted and I installed a new friction liner of the same dimensions. I used 2 ton epoxy and clamped it all together overnight. Once the epoxy squeezed out the sides I immediately wiped it off using white vinegar. that is the only stuff I've found that dissolves two part epoxy

I bought another tool box on ebay that was in perfect shape. got that painted and mounted, along with the dash tower and fenders. I installed the shift pattern decal, and mounted the gas tank finally. Next I have to do the wiring and sort out the exhaust mounting. And cut the steering shaft to the proper height.
