Save Old Iron 1,566 #2 Posted March 17, 2013 Help us help you. Define what a "blown tranny" means. Transaxle? Hydro unit? Clues from sight, sounds, smells or little puddles on the floor?
Amanda 81 #3 Posted March 17, 2013 unsure, guy doesnt know.. going to go look at it.. its comes with 2 stage blower, booster blowers and bagger.
chevyaddict83 39 #4 Posted March 17, 2013 Ahhh, youre going to look at the one in Walpole. If you can get the whole package for 500 $ , I would do it Sent from my 416-
Rock farmer 41 #5 Posted March 17, 2013 Could be a slipping belt! Funning he didn't mention a two stage blower in his ad? That's a steal! Go for it ! Joe
Sparky-(Admin) 21,406 #6 Posted March 17, 2013 If the 2 stage blower is not wrecked its worth the asking price regardless of the tranny. If it has the powered bagger setup I assume theres a deck as well? You cant go wrong, even if you dont fix it and sold off the attachments seperately you would turn a profit. Mike............ Save Old Iron 1,566 #15 Posted March 21, 2013 So what's the verdict on the trans ? Did this deal work out ?
baerpath 517 #16 Posted March 21, 2013 If you need one Amanda, maybe Brian can haul it out for you. I have spares either 8spd or hydro
Rock farmer 41 #17 Posted March 21, 2013 I've heard that the two stage blower turned into a single stage. And the price went from $500 or BO to $1600 firm. And the tractor was a wreak! No sale! End of story. Joe
chevyaddict83 39 #18 Posted March 21, 2013 The guy responded to my cl ad, and I inquired. The guy was an ass. The tractor is beat, and won't budge from 500 for just the tractor. Sent from my 416-8
