Kevbo 80 #1 Posted March 10, 2013 Good morning RedSquare! I wanted to give you guys an update on my GT-1800 that I picked up about two weeks ago. Took us awhile to fix the wiring but now she starts right up. This weekend she got new oil, sparkplugs, air filter, and Mobil 1 Synthetic 10W-30 in the hydro. Here are some pics before and after. Enjoy! Here she is two weeks ago loaded on the truck: In the local car wash: Here she is now:

Tankman 3,518 #8 Posted March 10, 2013 Very nice tractor and you certainly cleaned the Stallion up nicely! Plans for some paint? That sweet Horse would look great with a little wire wheel work and some rattle can Rustoleum! Don't forget a new battery hold-down too. Post more pic's during your progress. Did the Vice Grip come with the deck?
Kevbo 80 #9 Posted March 10, 2013 Yes this one will definitely be painted in the future! Full restore one day hopefully! To be honest there is a decent rattle in the engine, especially once I turn it off ad the piston slows down. Before paint I will probably get that taken care of. Right now my priority is getting as many of my mower decks cleaned, blasted, repaired, and painted before the mowing season really gets going. I have like six that I have to do lol many came with all the horses I have picked up in the last four months!
JimD 3,345 #10 Posted March 10, 2013 It's always a little bit of a shock to see what a bath at the car wash can do to spruce up a Horse. (of the 4 wheel variety that is) She looks good!
Martin 2,131 #11 Posted March 10, 2013 (edited) nice gt1800 there! that cleaned up really good....... i really like my 1848, just need to make the twin a little quieter, fix an oil leak and it would be perfect! i see that you have the engine rattles too, as well as tt and myself............
