Iggy68 28 #1 Posted February 16, 2013 We got snow in Sc tonight. Had to break out the 953 and play a little. My driveway is too short for any real fun so I plowed the road.

Foozerush 40 #5 Posted February 17, 2013 I admit I plow my street also.... My drive is small also, but I do a lot of sidewalk around my block. So far the city hasn't sent me a " cease order " yet.....
Wheel-N-It 2,969 #6 Posted February 17, 2013 Mark, you got alot more snow on the ground than we did here. It snowed all day but we barely got an inch at the most. None of the snow stuck to the road or my driveway. Glad you got to do some work with your Horse today. Van
Iggy68 28 #7 Posted February 17, 2013 It was a crazy storm Van. The wife and I were on our way to a friends for dinner when it started to snow. We got about 4" in about two hours. Wet heavy stuff. We turned around and headed back home. It isn't very often we get the opportunity to play in the snow down here so I had to take advantage of it. The neighbors were looking at me as if I had lost my mind! That was the first time I have ever plowed snow with the horse. Back in MI I had a 69 F100 that had the plow duties. I have to say I better understand the excitement the snow removal.
Tankman 3,520 #8 Posted February 17, 2013 Mid 60's was in a blizzard, snow in South Carolina. Kind of enjoyed the snow job I got in Paris Island USMC, SC. :-)
Jake Kuhn 1,563 #9 Posted February 17, 2013 Sounds fun! Looks like the 953 did a great job too!
Ken B 3,165 #10 Posted February 17, 2013 Its not to often you get snow in South Carolina I bet. and I'm sure your neighbors loved you for clearing the road! I live on a private road in the woods on top of a mountain. They hire a private sub contractor with a 4x4 pickup to get up the mountain as a dump truck will never make it up. With that said, the private guy doesn't usually make it up here until after the storm so I keep the main inlet road passable. I don't mind, its fun as we all know and it gives me something to do (and the Horse's get to stretch their legs.) Win- win for everyone! My neighbors are pretty amazed at what my Horse's are capable of. Here is a video of me clearing about half the distance of the road. Weekend storms are the best! Wheel-N-It 2,969 #11 Posted February 17, 2013 I enjoyed your video Ken. Its a good thing you have a cab. I would not want to blade or blow snow year after year without one.
