Wishin4a416 2,191 #1 Posted February 3, 2013 Can anybody tell me about the show? I never even heard of it before joining here. I have been to the Butler Parts o rama when doing my car and was wondering if it is similar as far as vendors for new and used parts. I am about 3 hours away and was thinking of checking it out. GlenPettit 1,716 #2 Posted February 3, 2013 You're so close, don't miss it: Their Web Site is: . . . .www.WheelHorseCC.com You'll find every model of Wheel Horse, many are perfect restorations, some are just as great workers, lots of unique modifications and tons & tons of parts, really just about everything you could be looking for. Bring lots of questions because all the answers are there, you can talk with the owners on how they fixed or made parts for their tractors, probably the exact same model you have. It's really a lot of fun, both on Friday and on Saturday, and even more fun if you bring your tractor. The show is free as is all the information; food and tractor games going on, all day into the evening. Seemed like 2,000 people and probably close to 1,000 tractors & parters last year, and just Wheel Horses.
jay in nc 210 #3 Posted February 3, 2013 well it's nothing like Parts-A-Rama. the show & trading area is about 1 acre compared to the butler county pa fairgrounds at around 300 acres. second thing. ONLY wheelhorse items are sold or displayed. third thing the food is great & reasonably priced. fourth thing it's only 2 days. that said i love both events & have sold parts at P.O.R. on & off sence the first show back in the late 70s early 80s. am going to push some firewood with the raider 9 i bought at POR in 94. Most of us get there Thursday morning...the show is actually Friday and Saturday. If you are into Wheel Horse, this is a must go. Lots of information in the show section. squonk 41,079 #11 Posted February 5, 2013 Since your so close Bob, Bring doughnuts!! I can't wait for this years show. I get to stay for the whole show to partake in all of the festivities. I won't have 1 guy with me that runs out of money by 10:00 A.M that insists on leaving so he can get home to his girlfriend that has all ready dumped him. Problem was, we used his truck to get there.
