meadowfield 2,570 #1 Posted January 28, 2013 Well we went to the south lakes for the weekend and managed to get caught up in the snow there... luckily the land rover managed to get us back in one piece despite some good piles of snow. When we got back there was an 8 inch carpet of fresh snow... yeah you know whats coming next well I had to go for it, here I am perched on a 3ft pile of snow So that was it after 2.5 hours a big pile of snow. By early evening the rain came and pretty well wiped all the snow out :(
Anglo Traction 761 #2 Posted January 28, 2013 (edited) Ah!, The stuff that Stevasaurus' dreams are made of. Glad you've had more fun Mark. I assume that road you've cleared is a public one, hence registering the Tractor?. Thanks for the pics Edited January 28, 2013 by Anglo Traction
wheeledhorseman 574 #3 Posted January 28, 2013 What, no Mark? Looks like you had some fun but yeah the rain came here and wiped out what was left of the snow (and the snowman). :(
meadowfield 2,570 #4 Posted January 29, 2013 Richard, the drive is my own, but tractor is road legal - taxed and insured... Andy, no snowman on the drive, but we did build a bigger igloo :D
Sparky-(Admin) 21,294 #5 Posted January 29, 2013 Looks like heavy sticky snow. I'm amazed how well you do with no added rear weights. Mike.............
meadowfield 2,570 #6 Posted January 29, 2013 it was very heavy sticky stuff ! I was skidding a lot and my chains are getting quite worn Wheel weights would be a good idea - on my list to make this year :)
