farm2013 0 #1 Posted January 22, 2013 Hello, I'm new here, and doing research on my Toro Wheel Horse tractor. I would like all of your opinions on what it might be worth - I have a friend interested in buying mine, and I need to know what a fair price is. I believe it is a 520xi model, (see picture). I bought it gently used, attachments that come with it are the 52" mower deck, leaf collector, and front loader. It has 707 hours on it... I would really appreciate your help - thanks so much! CRE1992 135 #2 Posted January 22, 2013 Id say $3000-4500.
Jim_M 178 #3 Posted January 22, 2013 I would say between $2000 and $2500.
Challenger 27 #4 Posted January 22, 2013 What brand Loader please? Is the tractor a 520xi (air cooled) OR a 520lxi (liquid cooled with power steering), or some other 5xi all together??? Can you provide us with more photos please. Without the above, I'll still take a stab at it. - 520xi with decent mower: $1500 - $2500. (A 520lxi would be approx. $700 to $1000 more.) Mechanical condition, recent service records, engine hours and cosmetics will impact these numbers up or down. - Kwik-Way loader in GOOD condition: $1500 - $2000 - Leaf Collection system: $250 - $500 These are SALE, not asking, prices I've observed here in Central New York the past couple of years. farm2013 0 #5 Posted January 22, 2013 Thanks everyone for all the replies! The loader is a Kwik, and in good condition. I found the manual & sale card, it is a 522xi. Air cooled, power steering. Would you all say $3,500 is a good price...? Thanks again for your help!
CRE1992 135 #6 Posted January 22, 2013 I would say 3,500 is a fairly reasonable price with a loader, mower deck, and bagger.
Challenger 27 #7 Posted January 22, 2013 At $3,500 your friend will be getting a VERY good deal. These tractors with a loader are rare and usually sell quickly. Good Luck!
jcorava 0 #8 Posted February 11, 2013 I bought my 522xi last year with 60" deck and Kwik-Way loader for $2700. Tractor had 387 hours with regular wear and tear. I didn't haggle for a second on the price and have not regretted my decision. This is a great little work horse. Only improvement would be 4WD.
Snowmobileaddict 403 #9 Posted February 13, 2013 I bought my 2003 522xi exactly 1 year ago with 175 hours and a 52" deck for $2000. Mine was mint condtion. Yours has higher hours and appears to show a bit of wear and tear. I also have that same leaf collector you have. Its called a "Quiet Collector" and it is an extremely rare attachment and brand new it fetched somehere around $1300 new at the dealer. I found my used quiet collector in March 2012 and paid $600 for it at a dealer. These leaf vacs are awesome at Fall leaf cleanup time. Figure another $1800 for the loader. I'm still hunting for Kwik-way loader. I could even live without 4wd if a diff locker were available!
