mdclem 12 #1 Posted January 21, 2013 Drove to Maryland today to save another horse. Thought it was a 854 but ended up being a 753. Didn't care, cause it was still a Horse and a round hood at that. Don't know too much about the 753 other than the basics you can figure out from the model number. Here she is

Sparky-(Admin) 21,294 #3 Posted January 21, 2013 Looks complete....to bad the hood was cut. What are your plans...restore....or get it in working shape? Mike...........
mdclem 12 #4 Posted January 21, 2013 Thanks, Jake. Sparky... yeah, I almost shed a tear when i saw the hood was cut for a bigger muffler. I've got a buddy that restores Ferrari's so he's pretty good at metal/body work. Hoping he can fix it. I plan on restoring, right after the RJ-58 which is waiting for warm weather to paint.

mdclem 12 #8 Posted January 21, 2013 Doing a little research on it. Questioning the seat....should it be the square pan kind or is the one on it the original? I've seen all kinds on the 753.
Kevbo 80 #9 Posted January 21, 2013 Nice find buddy! That is my next pick hopefully!
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #10 Posted January 21, 2013 Questioning the seat....should it be the square pan kind or is the one on it the original? The seat should be "square". I recently added two pictures of a mostly-original 753 in the gallery: The accessory headlights, the gas cap, and the muffler are about the only things I see that aren't original. I'll start looking for one to replace it then. I know i'm going to need a lift cable too. its missing and the slot hitch was bolted to the toolbox with a scrap piece of metal. I saw the tracor on there too. Price seems a little outrageous if you ask me.
