Shuboxlover 476 #1 Posted January 20, 2013 Early morning run.... Both are C-105's but one of them had a "surprise" Can you guess??....shouldn't take long. Got both for $350, they BOTH run excellent, both have rear axle brackets...42" deck, and 36" deck

CRE1992 135 #5 Posted January 20, 2013 Nice! Im guess the surprise is a K341, and I am digging the larger front tires! on the one on the front of the trailer.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,082 #6 Posted January 20, 2013 I'm going with a bigger motor than a stock K-241 in one of em. I see a black stock looking motor and a non-stock looking red one. Is the red one the "surprize" ? Mike.........
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #7 Posted January 20, 2013 The 10 head bolts and the fat air cleaner gave it away. ;)

varosd 1,185 #11 Posted January 20, 2013 Great score. I am wondering how you got them in the trailer like that. Someone must have been eating their Wheaties! $350 for both?!

JackC 617 #13 Posted January 20, 2013 The engines were black on the C105s so the red one is a replacement and looks like a 16hp. The logo seat and fender look pretty good also. You need a 6 X 12 landscape trailer if you are going to do double headers. How did you get those on and then off the trailer, bucket loader? Nice black hood haul. Shuboxlover 476 #15 Posted January 21, 2013 Yes, the surprise was the K341!!!!!!!! Runs absolutely GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!! As far as getting them on and off.....good old fashioned "horse" power...I lifted them!!!! It's amazing how much you can lift when you REEEEEEALY don't want to make a second trip and have the chance of losing the deal The seat is in great shape!!! The front tires on the one look cool, but hit the front of the deck if turned sharp. He put a smaller pulley on the tranny with the 16hp, said the thing FLIES!!!!! I didn't even drive either of them (he drove the stock one on the trailer) They both ran so good (even in the 12 degree weather) that I didn't even really care if they moved, but I took his word for it.
