TT

1-7235 for the Electro

5-1421 for the deck (?)

I just tried them and they both work fine.

Here's the deck at PartsTree: http://www.partstree.com/parts/?lc=toro_consumer&mn=5-1421%2C+42%22+Side+Discharge+Mower%2C+1968&dn=A_5252-52520008-0004

For some reason it's just not working.I try it seven ways from sunset.I've never had this problem, was hoping they didn't give up already on the old brand!

I've had no problems searching for parts on the Toro site, however, I have found that the model 701 no longer has any parts assembly drawing available. They do appear on the Partstree site though.

There have been times I put the model # manually and it would not work. Then I tried the "look up model number", click on it and it worked that way.

It's funny MalMac,The links Chas and Terry left look different from when I goggle search toro.com's site.I wonder if it's a mobile app thing.I haven't needed to go to toro since I got my new tablet and I heard Adobe isn't compatible with android powered mobile devices anymore.I always made my Harley payments from my mobile devices and now it to won't let me.Thanks to the great wise men here on RS I can keep the parts comin to keep the BIG RED run in!I took a junked 1267 chassis,a 70 electro heart and a 69 electro deck and expect in one shot to get a correct deck belt size?It happened.Luck and great guys with the same interests! Can't be beat, this hobby is a cult!

Try this, this is Toro's parts viewer. Try searching the model number and then click on it. Sorry I just notice it was listed already in prior post.

You also have newer versions of Internet Explorer out there and different versions of Java, etc that can really mess up a web site.

If you are having problems viewing a web site, download and install 'Google Chrome". This is Google's own browser and it doesn't rely on Microsoft's browser helpers to function. Everything it needs to run with new and old web sites are built into the program. It is secure and fast and I have been running it for awhile now.
