Butch 194 #1 Posted January 14, 2013 Where can you buy these potatoes for gardening. My grocer doesn't sell these potatoes. It is a common Idaho potato. I just can't seem to find them anywhere. Thanks
Jim_M 178 #2 Posted January 14, 2013 I see them in all of the seed catalogs.
specialwheelhorse 174 #3 Posted January 14, 2013 Better buy them from seed catalog, I just read lately that those for grocery are treated with something to keep them from sprouting. Jim in Texas
Butch 194 #4 Posted January 14, 2013 The only seed catalogs I know of are Burpee and Park and neither one sell them. I'll do some more huntin around. Thanks. 6wheeler 641 #5 Posted January 14, 2013 Butch, I got mine last year at the local Mills Fleet Farm. I don't know if you guys have those out there in Sout Joisey . But maybe a Home Depot or something like that may have them in the spring. Also check with your local extension office and they may be able to tell you who sells organic or heritage seeds and they can probably fix you up. Good luck. I think I am only planting Yukon Golds next year. The Russet Burbanks were good too but I like the Yukons more
