520h vs 518h axle shafts the same?

Are the axle shafts identical between the 520h and the 518h?? I ask as a friend needs a axle shaft in his 520h and if my old ones in the rear end I just removed from my 518h will work, I will sell him the whole rear end for parts. I am guessing the pump is the major differance from just looking at the two rear ends side by side when I swapped in the 1100 series pump/rear end assembly. The rest of his transaxle is fine, just needs a replacement axle shaft, not sure which side but both of mine are good. Thanks MIke

Yes they are the same....the inside of the trans as far as the gears-differential-axles are identical...
