TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #2 Posted January 12, 2013 When the PTO is disengaged, the lever on the outside of the pedal locks against a 1/4" X 1" roll pin that's inserted through the footrest rod. The link on the back of the pedal connects to the idler arm / belt tensioner pulley that mounts on the pin of the mid hitch side plate.

TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #4 Posted January 13, 2013 This is a cap of the belt tensioner arm / idler pulley assembly from the mower deck IPL: The link from the foot pedal attaches to the pin I have colored red. As far as pictures, this is the best I can do:
Retired Wrencher 5,535 #5 Posted January 13, 2013 :USA: Hi Terry does this look right to u this looks like it is only for the mower deck. here are some pick`s. it has been about 4 years since this 857 was together so my memory is a little rusty And being it is a 857 it is different set up than 10 and the 1257. Take Care Gary B................. also there is a rod the same length as a brake rod the ends look like this. I am not sure where that goes?????if it even goes on the 857..... TT-(Moderator) 1,145 #7 Posted January 13, 2013 The 856 is long gone, and the 867 lives a few houses down the street from my parent's house. The brake rod in your last two pictures is for an older automatic tractor.
