steve k 82 #5 Posted December 31, 2012 Thanks guys! COMPLETE disassembly......replaced/fixed worn parts, had to buy some missing pieces, welded up cracks in the sheet metal here and there, tore down the rear and replaced all bearings/seals, completely rewired and put all new vinyl on including the dash board which really looks great now. Even the cigarette light works now! :wicked:

steve k 82 #11 Posted January 1, 2013 (edited) Yeah its done sparky! unless I change it.... I bought that 12hp muffler new for $25 including shipping!(ebay) I tried turning different ways and came up with that as the best, I dont want to hear or smell the engine!! BTW It came with a rusted out deck. I think I will pull the stone rake around the yard or my sulky around shows with it. TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #12 Posted January 1, 2013 Excellent job! ~ and for not painting the rear wheel bolts red. :D
glgrumpy 35 #13 Posted January 1, 2013 I LIKE the wheel bolts painted the color of the axle centers. Be it black, brown or Red! Even Yellow when I do mine in MM colors! Paints don't stay on after a couple removals in most cases, THEN it starts to look not so nice. Zat the problem you see?
btrrg1969 11 #14 Posted January 1, 2013 looks like show room quality
TT-(Moderator) 1,131 #15 Posted January 1, 2013 Zat the problem you see? I don't see a problem..... They were bright zinc (silver) plated when new.
