Roundhood Front Rim?

Recommended Posts

AMC RULES

From what I can see, these front rims are identical...except for the two wheel weight holes.

Can someone tell me what year :wh: started adding the holes? :thanks:

No holes in 58/59 One hole in 1960 and two holes in 61. At least this is what I have noticed on the tractors and of coarse there is probably some crossover between the years as we know WH used what they had on hand at the time of production.

My 701s I believe have one hole, and my 603 has one, the 62 tractors I have some have one others have two, I think it's what was available or in stock, I'm sure they got rims from a vendor, and not built in house.

58,59 had no holes, 60 and 61 I believed had one hole, and then later on in 62 they had two holes. I have a 702 however that has the single hole rims, maybe it was left over from 61 as it has a suburban seat as well? ~Jake

If I am not correct on this someone please let me know.

The Wheel Horse tub trailer uses the same wheel with out the holes. Not sure about the hub length.

Craig, I don't see a valve stem hole in the primed wheel so that would be a difference also if it is on the back side. krazy_horse
