Killer 2000 Chevy 83 #1 Posted December 16, 2012 (edited) My good friend just bought, the best that we could find, a 1969 Jacobsen Chief-o-Matic 1000. It's hydrostat and is missing the deck arm. but the deck was with it. We were trying to find out if the deck arm and settings were hydraulic or manual since it was a hydrostat drive. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll get some pics a.s.a.p. Moved to "Other Brands". Edited December 16, 2012 by Sparky
Sparky-(Admin) 21,318 #3 Posted December 16, 2012 I took a look at Jacobson Chiefs with Google Images and they all seem to be manual lift machines. The lift handle would be on right side (when sitting on the machine). This is a 1200 Hydro with the lift arm; Mike...........

rydogg 186 #6 Posted December 16, 2012 Some of the older Jacobsen and MM tractors use the same style Hein Werner pump that wheel horses use from what I can tell. Here is a link to a video of a Jacobsen 1200 with hydraulic lift.
